CHP responding to possible fatal accident in Piru

California Highway Patrol officials responded to a possible fatal accident about 4:20 p.m. today on westbound Highway 126 in Piru just east of Rancho Camulos.

CHP officials said there was one victim, and emergency officials were working on extricating the victim as of 4:30 p.m.

There was some slowing on westbound Highway 126, and CHP officials were guiding traffic through the area.

According to the CHP site the coroner has been called for. So sad, I've seen too many accidents today and people driving like maniacs.
