Applications are beingsought for the Goebel Senior Center Commission in Thousand Oaks.The Board of Commissioners is composed of 15 seniors, age 55 or older, residing within the boundaries of the Conejo Recreation & Park District, particularly individuals who are knowledgeable of the needs and interests of older people and community resources. Commissioners volunteer their time and special skills, serve on Commission committees and assist in programs that benefit seniors. Regular public Commission meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the Goebel Senior Adult Center. Potential candidates are encouraged to attend.HOW TO APPLY Interested applicants can request an applicationt to submit their name, address, phone number and any other pertinent information to the office of the Administrator of Recreation & Community Services, Conejo Recreation & Park District, 403 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, California 91360 by 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2008.
