Corner Oak & Santa Clara Oh Yeah, it's finally open, what a beautiful restaurant, went there for lunch. They have a list of salad's and sandwich's that won't quit. You ain't gonna believe the prices either, they have possibly the most reasonably priced menu in all of Ventura. Example: Caf é Fruit Salad, melange of fresh honeydew, kiwi, cantaloupe, pineapple and seasonal berries along with a scoop of cottage cheese, served with sliced currant-walnut bread.... $9.75 Chef's Salad, fresh greens tossed with ham, turkey, swiss, cheddar, bleu cheese and tomato in a creamy herb dressing, served with sliced sunflower seed bread....... $10.25 The Portobello Sandwich, rasted portobello mushroom, eggplant, red pepper, caramelized onion, provolone on garlic butter and pesto brushed rosemary foccacia, served with a petite mixed greens salad tossed with lemon-thyme vinaigrette........$8.75I haven't tried their dinner menu yet, but I believe it will surpass the lunch menu without any problem. Plus if you go in for dinner next week your bottle of wine will be at ½ price. Believe me they have a wine list to die for, plus a few good brews on tap.
