Morning Report: Sunny, breezy weather expected

More from Other NewsWeather: Sunny and breezy conditions with high temperatures in the 60s are predicted for today, the National Weather Service reported. Wind gusts could reach 35 miles per hour in some places.
Temperatures tonight are expected to drop into the 30s and 40s.
Weather service forecasts show similar conditions continuing through the weekend until Sunday night, when there is a 20 percent chance of rain.

Traffic: Emergency responders this morning were working to rescue a motorist trapped in a vehicle that went over the side of Highway 101 northbound, flipped over and went into a stand of trees, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol reported the single vehicle collision at 6:07 a.m.
Ambulances responded to the scene.
At 6:40 a.m., fire department personnel were still working to extricate the trapped motorist.
A non-injury accident was reported on Tierra Rejada Road just east of Library View Road near Simi Valley.
Motorists this morning were also being advised to watch out for water on a curve of Highway 150 just east of Berry Farm near Casitas Pass Road.
