Highlights: Oaks Christian — Ally Courtnall scored in each half, while Kelsea Smith finished with a goal and an assist. Marlo Smith, Jaci Mello and Kelly Johnson each had assists. Kristin Clark scored late in the second half. Noe Salter recorded eight takeaways and three saves in goal.

Highlights: Ventura — In the first game, Brett Reed, James Quandt and Pablo Garcia each scored second-half goals. Sal Mora had two assists. Against Atascadero, Danny Yutrzenka scored the game's lone goal off of Mora's assist. Goalie Garrett Brown, the Channel League's MVP from last year, recorded his 26th career shutout, the most in school history.
Record: Ventura 5-0.

At Thatcher
Highlights: Rio Mesa — Javier Marquez scored a goal and recorded an assist. Michael Roman assisted the other three goals. Cris Fernandez, Dustin Figueroa and Jerry Ponce also scored for Rio Mesa.

Highlights: Pacifica — Jorge Oceguera scored a team-high three goals and added an assist. Raul Yeec scored two goals. Juan Escalande scored a goal of his own while recording two assists.

Highlights: Westlake — Catherine Mary was the top scorer in both games for the Warriors with three goals against Cabrillo and two against Ventura. Amanda McNutt also scored in both games, posting two goals in the Cabrillo game and one against Ventura.

Highlights: Malibu — In the first game, Searra Silverberg led with seven goals and Rachel Whittemore added four. Goalie Jojo White recorded 14 blocks in the second game, while Katie Rollins and Gianna Fote notched two goals apiece.
Record: Malibu 3-0.

Highlights: Pacifica — Kendall Neely scored five goals against Santa Ynez and three in the second game. Vanessa Magallannes and Alicia Romero each added two goals in Pacifica's win. Claudia Puebla had 10 blocks in the loss.

Highlights: Dos Pueblos — Sean Park led all players with 20 points and Robert Vickers followed with 18, including three 3-pointers. Ryan Beall added 10 points. Newbury Park — Dalton Francis scored a team-high 14 points and also led with nine rebounds. Charles Benton scored 11 points and Jared Koga scored 10 and dished out five assists.

Highlights: Buena — Marquis Johnson finished his night with a double-double, scoring 20 with 10 rebounds. He also blocked four shots and had three steals. Trevor Payan scored 10 points and had six rebounds and four steals.

At Simi Valley Tipoff Classic
Highlights: Simi Valley — Lorne Jackson led Simi Valley with 26 points. Mike Meza added 21, and Brad Lewis and Danny Cox each had 15 points. Simi Valley advances to the tournament chamionship against Knight. Ventura — James Staniland led all scorers with 29 points, and James Ennis added 20.

Highlights: Moorpark — Cody McVey led with 16 points and six rebounds. David Buchanan scored 12 points while Kevin De La Paz added 10 points and six rebounds. Moorpark will compete for the tournament championship today at 3 p.m.

Highlights: Oaks Christian — Tyler McGrath converted four 3-pointers to finish with a game-high 21 points. Mike Crownover added 14 points and a team-best 11 rebounds. Matt Johnson had 11 points, 13 assists and six steals.

At Saugus Shootout
Highlights: Westlake — T.J. Hennessy scored 14 points for the Warriors. Andreas Svennefiord scored nine points and had 13 rebounds. Alec Hefs blocked three shots and grabbed five rebounds while scoring 10. The Warriors (3-0) advanced to the final round and will play for the Shootout championship tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

At Santa Clarita Christian Tournament
Highlights: Grace Brethren — Brett Hockenberry scored a team-high 15 points. Ryan Whitman recorded a double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds. Shane Hampson added 10 points and three assists.

At Moorpark Tournament
Highlights: Newbury Park — Torri Galaviz led with 19 points. Doris Park-Sherman recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and four steals. Sarah Godfrey added eight points and eight rebounds. Newbury Park plays Chaminade again for third place today at 5:30 p.m.

Highlights: Moorpark — Molly Carson's 24 points were the game high. Lauren Carson scored 16. Agoura — Brittany Oster recorded 14 points and five steals. Taylor Lord added 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Highlights: Fillmore — Aimee Orozco registered team-highs with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Jill Wilber added 11 points.

Highlights: La Reina — Jenna Violano led her team in scoring with 16 and in rebounds with 18. Mel Houslog added 15 points, Mary Kate Jankowski tallied 14 and Jenna Burge scored 13. La Reina's defense held Arleta scoreless in the second and third quarters.

Highlights: Nordhoff — Allie Clifford registered team-highs with nine points, seven blocks, seven steals and four assists. Chloe Bunker had 10 rebounds and seven points.

At Gilcrest Invitational
Highlights: Ventura — Indira Kaljo led with 20 points plus five rebounds and Jenelle Conklin followed with 19 points. Michelle Santizo had seven steals and three assists. Ventura will face San Juaquin Delta tomorrow at 8 p.m.
Records: Ventura 7-2, San Jose 4-5.
OXNARD 69, MIRA COSTA 68
At Oxnard
Highlights: Oxnard — Cherrelle Hayes scored 16 points, including two free throws that put the Condors ahead in the game for good. She finished the night with six rebounds and seven assists as well. Des Mollgaard had 17 points and five rebounds.
