A man and a woman were seriously injured in a car crash near the intersection of Ventura Avenue and Dakota Drive in Ventura this morning, police said.
The two were transported to a local hospital after their car hit a tow truck about 8:37 a.m., said Lt. Ray Vance of the Ventura Police Department.
At 9:30 a.m. police were directing traffic in the area of the crash, Vance said.

Nice job providing as little detail as possible. Do Star "reporters" ever ask questions? Appears Lt. Vance was on scene providing SOME detail. Was the tow truck providing a service, or merely parked somewhere? Was there a tow driver? Was he injured? Do you plan to offer further or are we supposed to guess?
Wonder how a journalism teacher would grade that report? Any takers?

Like big yellow school busses, tow trucks are notoriously hard to see!

Well getting off the freeway exit today, a tow truck was towing another car, but still stopped on the exit and we had very narrow room to exit off.So I can see it happening........

Good thing there was a tow truck there to remove the car..........that hit him.
I seem to remember a little something from my high school journalism class, it was WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW.
