Teen arrested on suspicion of robbery

Moorpark police arrested a teenager late Monday in connection with a robbery in front of a health club along the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

Police said three boys, ages 12 to 14, told them they were approached by two older males, and robbed of money about 11 p.m.

The robbery happened in front of the Mavericks Sports Club, where the boys had gone to watch a film, police said.

Police said they were able to identify a 17-year-old suspect based on the description the boys gave them and were still looking for a second suspect Wednesday afternoon.
