Home shoppers seeking new choices and favorable pricing found both at Waverly Place on Aug. 18 as builder Pardee Homes celebrated its model opening for the latest neighborhood of new homes in Moorpark Highlands, a master-planned community by the award-winning homebuilder.

Priced from the mid-$400,000s, the distinctive townhomes of Waverly Place were well received, according to Pat Palazzo, area sales director for Pardee Homes.

Waverly Place homes provide approximately 1,136 to 1,819 square feet of living space. Two of the three plans provide private yards, while the carriage unit features a private balcony. All include an attached, direct access garage. Broker co-op is welcomed; brokers must accompany prospective buyers on the initial visit to a Pardee Homes neighborhood.

Plan One — a carriage house design with a porch entry and stair leading to living space of approximately 1,136 square feet, which features a spacious master suite with balcony and two additional bedrooms; buyers may specify a den in lieu of the third bedroom. A two-bay tandem garage connects directly to the ground level entry.

Plan Two — a two-story design of approximately 1,443 square feet of living space, plus a private yard and a two-bay attached garage with direct access to the interior, which features a large entertainment space. Upstairs are the master suite plus two additional bedrooms and full bath.

Plan Three — a two-story design with approximately 1,819 square feet of living space plus a private yard and a two-bay garage with direct access to the interior. The plan provides three bedrooms, a den and two baths plus powder room. Buyer options include a fourth bedroom in lieu of the den and a full bath in lieu of the powder room. Upstairs spaces include the master suite and two additional bedrooms and bath.

Modeled in the Craftsman style, Waverly Place's handsome buildings will also feature Early California and Italian styling. Textured stucco and distinctive color palettes enhance each theme.

Moorpark Highlands encompasses some 400 acres on a scenic, elevated site, and Pardee Homes has included plans for a seven-acre park and multi-purpose trails with linkage opportunities to surrounding open space and trails.
