Outlook: With starting quarterback Vince Moraga back, the Tritons should be strong on offense. If the defense can come around, Pacifica could make a run.

CAMARILLO

Coach: Dennis Riedmiller (Fifth year)

Top returning players: DL, Derek Shutt, OL Victor Singh, OL, Rudy Perez, WR, Jamal Smith, QB, Dasmen Stewart, DB, Sean Turner, LB, Bryant Jones, DL, Carlos Martinez.
Promising newcomers: DB, Jade Campbell, LB, Henry Fernandez, OL, Juan Carrillo, OL, Ryan Plisky, TE, Tia Salona, DL, Ed Casturita, LB Ricardo Coretz, K, Brandon Shows.
Outlook: With a total of 16 of 22 starters back, including nine on defense, Oxnard should be a major contender for the league title. Junior quarterback Dasmen Stewart leads a talented offense. Derek Shutt will anchor a defensive unit that only gave up an average of 14.0 points per game last year.

Outlook: Under first year head coach Steve Ruedaflores, the Vikings hope to start a new era of success. They are strong on offense with wide recievers Andre Austin and Travan Nixon, both Division I prospects. How they do on defense may be the key to the season.

CHANNEL ISLANDS
