Somis man linked to assault

A 20-year-old Somis man was booked into the Ventura County Jail on Sunday night on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Estranged from his relatives, Gustavo Lopez broke into their Somis home around 1 p.m. Sunday brandishing a knife and threatening to kill family members, specifically his father, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
Lopez did not live at the home and had been warned to stay away, according to family members who called 911 to report the incident.
Family members tackled Lopez and wrestled the knife away, but he managed to bite his father during the scuffle, according to a sheriff's representative..
When deputies arrived, Lopez was being restrained by family members. The exact number of family members involved was unclear, but authorities said there were at least three.
At the time of the incident, Lopez was on probation for making criminal threats, according to the sheriff's representative.

What in the world is this world coming to????
So many crazy people out there its down right scary ! People wanting to kill a parent? Probably some low life ordered to stay away........and got angry ! Hope he gets the help he needs. Hope the family doesn't have to live in fear all the time of him returning one day.......
