Compton: Outreach locations available for vets

More from Communities | SeniorsOver the past few weeks, I have received numerous questions about outreach locations served by this office. Here are all the locations and the claims officer covering each site:
-- East County Job & Career Center, 980 Enchanted Way, Simi Valley: 8 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Claim officer: John Jackson.
-- Senior center in Simi Valley: 9 to 11 a.m. the second Wednesday of each month. Claim officer: John Jackson.
-- Senior center in Camarillo: 2 to 4 p.m. the last Thursday of each month. Claim officer: Jim Hall.
-- Thousand Oaks City Hall: 12:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. Claim officer: John Jackson.
-- Senior center in Thousand Oaks: 9 to 11 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Claim officer: John Jackson.
-- Little House, 111 W. Santa Ana St., Ojai: 9 to 11 a.m. the last Thursday of each month. Claim officer: Jim Hall.
-- Oxnard Family Circle, 5000 South C St.: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. Claim officer: Jorge Sotelo.
-- Todd Road Jail in Santa Paula: 8:30 to 11:30 am. the first Thursday of each month. Claim officer: Jorge Sotelo.
-- Human Service Agency, 855 Partridge Drive, Ventura: noon to 4 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month. Claim officer: Jim Hall.
This office welcomes suggestions for additional outreach locations to better serve the veterans of Ventura County.
