THOUSAND OAKS STAYS UNBEATEN

Highlights: Thousand Oaks The Lancers stretched their winning streak to 16 games without a loss by sweeping host Norwalk 18-0 and 10-1. Dustin Kahle led the way in the opener with a triple, two doubles and a single with three RBIs. Ryan Donahoe, Baxter Biley, Mitchell Korey, John Lister and Beau Foster each had two hits. Ricky Krohn pitched four innings with four strikeouts for the win. In the second game, Corky Abourisk pitched two hitless innings and recorded four strikeouts. Relief pitcher Mac Way scattered three hits with four strikeouts. Bailey had two hits and drove in a run. Donahoe and Kahle each had RBI doubles. James Brady, Danny Leon, Matt Hepner and Korey each drove in runs.
Record: Thousand Oaks 16-0.

Highlights: Buena Scott Zeman was the winning pitcher. The Bulldogs collected 16 hits. Ryan Jones and Gabe Gonzalez each had three hits and an RBI. Colin Boys had a hit and an RBI. Zeman had two hits and two RBIs. J.P. Valdievieso had two hits, including a double and one RBI. Matt Arve had a double and a single. Logan Norris had a double, a single and one RBI. Tyler Perez had a hit and an RBI. Ventura The Cougars had five hits and four stolen bases.

Highlights: St. Bonaventure The Seraphs defeated Bishop Montgomery 1 and lost to Alemany 6-2 in the Alemany Easter Tournament. Joe Luna was the winning pitcher against Bishop Montgomery. Luna recorded four strikeouts and allowed one hit in three innings. Nick Schweikhardt and Garrett Dann combined in relief on a five-hitter with five strikeouts. Schweikhardt had a hit and an RBI. Austin Mascarro had a single, triple, two stolen bases and an RBI. Tanner Foster had two hits and two RBIs. Allen Gwynn had a single, double and one RBI. Timmy Bennett had four RBIs with a single and a double. Kevin Minjares had a hit. Nolan Rodarte had a hit, four stolen bases and two RBIs. Jacob Lopez had a hit. Dan Gonzalez was the losing pitcher in the Alemany game. He scattered four hits on four runs. Gwynn allowed two runs on two hits in relief. Gwynn registered three strikeouts and three walks. Christian Loversky had two RBIs. Rodarte had a double and Luna added two hits. Gwynn and Mascarro had hits.

Highlights: Royal Ryan Cerda had three hits, including a double and triple and three RBIs. Patrick McCoy had two hits, including a triple and two RBIs. Clay Quina and Chad Avena had two hits. Matt Surrena had a triple. Corey Lavallee, Vito Messina and Thomas Sereika hit doubles. Chelsea Hannon, Trevor Rapp, Billy Conard, Derrick Schiller and Dirk Noe each had a hit. Tyler Abbott was the winning pitcher and Billy Conard was the closer. The pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and scattered 10 hits.

FONZO HITS GRAND SLAM
Saticoy Little League Major Division
Highlights: Tigers Brandon Fonzo, 12, went 4 for 4 with a grand slam, two doubles and a single in a 9-5 victory over the Athletics. Fonzo has two homers in regular-season play.
Tides finish SeCOND
Triple Crown Tournament at San Diego Open
Highlights: Southern California The Tides, a 14-year-old travel team based in Moorpark, finished second. The Tides arned berths in the Summer Championship in Steamboat Springs, Colo., and the National Championship in Las Vegas. The Tides finished finished second in the 11-team tournament with a record of 4-1, defeating the West Coast Bulldogs 9-1 to reach the title game. In the championship game, the West Coast Force (a nationally-ranked team from Temecula) behind strong pitching, defeated the Tides 6-0. The offense was led by Spencer DuBois (eight hits, seven RBIs, six runs), Matt Higginbotham (six hits and six RBIs), Sam Mercer (five hits and six RBIs), Drew Hacker (five hits and four RBIs), Blake McFadden (six runs and two RBIs), and Lionel Poole (three runs and four RBIs). The Tides received strong pitching from Travis Radke, Jake Lemmo, Mercer, Higginbotham and Hacker. The Tides players are DuBois, Tim Ginther, Hacker, Higginbotham, Mitch Hollingsworth, Jake Lemmo, McFadden, Mercer, Lance Poole, Lionel Poole, Nelson Spruce, and Radke. The team is coached by Russ McFadden, Randy Hacker, Tom Ginther and Mark DuBois.
WARRIORS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP
Hart Spring Classic at Valencia
Highlights: Ventura County Warriors The 8-and-under travel team based in Oxnard, celebrated its first championship. The Warriors defeated the SC Bluerocks, who are the No. 2-ranked team in Southern California's USSSA Baseball and also defeated the 10th-ranked USSSA team Antelope Valley Kaos. The Anthony Cortez, Billy Crist Jr., Carlos Alvarada, Nick Spencer, Mikey Fontyn, Jacob Castro, Austin Macial, Nick Arroyo, Cole Putchak and John Jacob Zaragoza. John Zaragoza and Jaime Arroyo are managers. Billy Crist and Derek Fontyn are coaches.
BRAVES WIN THREE STRAIGHT
El Rio Little League Major Division
Highlights: Braves The Braves (7-1) rallied from a 6-0 deficit to edge the Athletics 11-10. Vinny Avila hit a game-tying three-run homer in the fourth-inning. Justin Miranda hit a three-run homer in the sixth to take the lead. Eric Rodriguez and Johnny Bautista had three hits. Miranda was the winning pitcher in relief. The Braves collected 16 hits in a 13-3 rout of the Rangers. Rodriguez and Evan Worley had four hits. Avila had three hits in an 8-6 win over the Angels. Rodriguez and Matt Espinoza had two hits. Rodriguez and Mora shared the pitching duties. Athletics Ruben Barraza hit a triple and Nick Gutierrez added a double. Rangers Alex Berciaga and Devan Sasaki played well. Angels Joshua Wright had four hits. Eric Ramirez and Chris Lopez hit homers.
