Third suspect arrested in bank robbery
A third suspect was arrested today in connection with the Apr. 14 robbery of thousands of dollars from a Ventura Washington Mutual, police said.
Lynette Regnier, 21, of Ventura, turned herself in at the Ventura police station Wednesday morning, said Sgt. Rick Murray.
Regnier is the girlfriend of Ventura resident Adrian Jones, 20, the bank teller who was arrested last week on suspicion of assisting in the robbery.
Police allege that Regnier drove a getaway car for Andre Ingram, 20, of Oxnard, after he allegedly went into the bank and demanded money.
Ingram turned himself in to police on Monday.
Regnier has been booked in Ventura County Jail. She is facing charges including accessory to grand theft, Murray said.
