Arts Center banquet tickets, sponsorships available
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available for Saturday night's Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation's sixth annual Spotlight Awards Benefit Banquet.
The 5 to 9 p.m. event will be at Camino de Robles, home of Edward and Madelaine Landry, in the Santa Susana Knolls. It is at 1073 Box Canyon Road. The evening will feature American cuisine and wines, auctions, live performances, and a ceremony to honor six local leaders with the foundation's Spotlight Awards.

"Additionally, we are very excited to honor six local leaders who have greatly nurtured cultural arts in our community."
Honorees are:
n Dr. Elvin and Geri Gaines, Pillar of the Arts Community Award.
n Patsy Swayze, Educator of the Year Award.
n Jessica Stone, Young Artist of the Year Award.
n Anna Desiree Graves, Artist of the Year Award.
n Carol Harris and Linda Denne, Volunteer of the Year Award.
Tickets for the evening are $100 each. For tickets or more information, call 432-8209.
The banquet is a major fundraiser, along with the annual Vino Jazz Festival each fall, for the foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center and arts in Simi Valley.
