Seminars to boost teen self-esteem set in Ojai
A four-day workshop to teach teens how to accept themselves their emotions and their inner potential and communicate who they are to the world is being offered this summer in Ojai.
For the fifth year in a row, the Ojai Valley Youth Foundation is bringing the nationally reputed Teen Insight seminar to town.
The workshop is filled with experiential activities, large and small group discussions, relaxation exercises, games and role playing, along with plenty of music and food.
Teen Insight Level I runs July 26-29. Graduates of Level I are invited to enroll in Teen Insight Level II, which will take place Aug. 8-12.

More from CommunitiesThe cost to attend Teen Insight I is $350, and Teen Insight II is $595. Daily meals are included.
Partial scholarships are available, as is housing for out-of-town teens.
Interested families should call the foundation to discuss sponsorships and other options.
Youths ages 15-18 from all backgrounds are invited to apply. Fourteen-year-olds will be considered on an individual basis.
The nonprofit Ojai Valley Youth Foundation has been offering programs for teens since 1997.
