Highlights: Oaks Christian Valerie Ortega reached base on a fielder's choice in the fifth inning, allowing Alex Bates to score the lone run. Lindsey Jeu De Vine came up big defensively in the seventh inning, throwing out the a runner at home. Taylor Schlopy struck out 11 without a walk as the Lions took sole possession of first place in the Tri-Valley League. Oak Park Julia Rice struck out 11.

Highlights: Santa Clara Michelle Getman pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts and no earned runs. At the plate, Getman was 2 for 3 with a run scored. Cece Escamilla added two hits and a run scored.
