The Star's Basketball Players of the Year regularly filled the stat sheets and were versatile weapons for their respective teams.
Amoke averaged 20.8 points and 13.1 rebounds to earn The Star's honor for the second consecutive year.
The 6-foot-7 Cal-bound forward is Oxnard's all-time leader in blocked shots and No. 2 in scoring, rebounding and steals.
Barker averaged 18.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists to lead Moorpark to a Marmonte League co-championship.
The 5-foot-6 guard made the most of her abilities, and supplemented her skills with heart, passion and desire.
"Laura Barker will do whatever it takes to help her team win," Moorpark coach Adam Wohlstattar said. "She may not be the most imposing presence, but she finds a way to impose her will on the court."
