Road closures
Sunday's storm closed highways and roads throughout Ventura County. The
highways and roads closed as of 9 p.m. Sunday:

Highway 150 at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Victoria Avenue between Gonzales Road and Olivas Park Road.
Grimes Canyon Road.
All roads into Piru.

Heavy rain, runoff and flooding closed roads throughout the day. According to the sheriff's department and the California Highway Patrol, roads that closed at one point included:
Highway 118 near Walnut Avenue, Highway 33 north of Friends Ranch, Highway 1 at Calleguas Creek.
Major roads that closed included Lewis Road at University Drive, Fifth Street at Pleasant Valley Road, Pleasant Valley Road in Camarillo.
