Who's eligible?

Cities often set income limits on who can buy low-cost housing. The categories are based on a four-person household. The median family income for a family of four in Ventura County is $77,400.

  • Low income: $57,500, or 80 percent of the median.
  • Very low income: $38,700, or 50 percent of the median.
  • Extremely low income: $23,200, or 30 percent of the median.
