Nancy Ferguson
With more than 30 years of scuba diving under her weight belt, Nancy Ferguson looks back on a lifetime of adventure that includes being shipwrecked in the Philippines, riding a manta ray in the Sea of Cortez and swimming with the humpback whales in Hawaii.
She has explored oceans throughout the world and these experiences have provided the foundation for her books.
Though she briefly departed from writing scuba adventures to create a novel about Hollywood, "Alana," she has now returned to the subject she loves best. "Dark Waters" is the result. She also has created a book of underwater photography, called "Bright Waters."
Ferguson is the great-grandmother of six, a cancer survivor, who
lives and writes in Ventura.
