Carolyn Bauer Zorn

Carolyn Bauer Zorn,

Carolyn Bauer Zorn left her career as a sales engineer to pursue writing full time. She has a degree in sociology from the University of Detroit/Mercy.

She grew up in Chicago and Seattle before settling in the Detroit area where she raised her four childre. She is also the grandmother of five. She now resides in Ventura County with her husband, Dave, who is a news broadcaster.

Her grandmother, Florence Marvyne Bauer, was a prolific biblical novelist and her grandfather, Dr. William Waldo Bauer, was a popular writer of health and family books.

Bauer Zorn is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Ventura County Writers Club. She has been published in the Los Angeles Times and the Ventura County Star.
