Glide crew answers your questions

I am a resident of Ventura County, too, and live close to the Channel Islands Harbor. Today is Saturday and I am currently working. I just read the local newspaper on the internet and read about your adventure. Good luck to all of you and take plenty of pictures. Here is an idea, display your completed trip in a local museum/gallery for community to view?

What a fantastic experience you must be having! I spent some time in the Royal Australian Navy, and sailed from Long Beach to Darwin back in 1985. It was a beautiful trip, it took us about a month to get to Fiji for a fuel stop, and then another week to Darwin. (I was on a 420-foot guided missile

frigate and had to do my share of watches!) Good luck to you all. Look forward to reading your next installment.

Yes, they are both learning, and Max knows how to sail a sabot.

I will make it short. I just read some of your writings to my daughters: Brooklyn, Shayne and Olivia. WOW! - Great Sunday inspiration. GOD bless all of you. Be safe. We will read constantly about your amazing journey. We live in Simi Valley (we are a (power) boating family), and my kids have said NO WAY to a trip around the world, in our boat - shucks, I would've met you for some tea.

Hi Lisa.

I don't know if you remember me, Cyndi Rowton. I actually talked to you about this trip and perhaps going with you. We got off on that conversation while I was asking you about Azusa Pacific and a class there. I finally finished my Clear Teaching Credential in January. I am working at Kamala Elementary Intersession and at the After School Program as well. Monday, March 10 I start at Emily Richens School doing their Push - In Reading Program and their upper grade Intersession classes. I have 4 jobs trying to get one.

I am so VERY HAPPY that you made this happen. Please if you have the time send me updates of your life. I am so wishing I could do something like what you are doing. The year on a sailboat in Mexico changed my life forever. I love the sea. I know you do too. So when and if you have the

time/chance/ability, I would love to hear of your adventures.

Remember Ladies and Gentlemen always sail downwind.

I am writing to you hoping you are doing great on your jouney and want you to know that you and your family is in my prayers.



Lisa, the one thing that would worry me, is the kids, so I hope that there are doing good. It must be a great adventure for them to sail across the blue oceans and be able to experience new things and get to visit different parts of the world.

I would like to ask you, me being a dolphin lover, do you get to see any of them??
