Loan payment made, so Luster's home won't be sold
Officials at CTC Real Estate Services said the loan is now current and no auction would be held.
They would not reveal who made the loan payment on the home.
CTC Real Estate held the deed on the property and was hoping to collect the $550,412 owed to it after Luster began defaulting on payments back in November.
According to a notice issued earlier by the Moorpark real estate firm, Luster had a past-due bill of $11,480 as of March 24, three months after the Max Factor heir fled in the middle of his trial and about a month after he was convicted in absentia on 86 counts of drugging and raping three unconscious women.
He was captured last month in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, by a bounty hunter. He's now serving his 124-year prison sentence in Wasco State Prison.
CTC had scheduled a public auction of Luster's beachfront two-bedroom, one-bathroom home at a public auction today in front of the Ventura County Government Center.
Luster, or any relative or friend, had up until the day before the auction to settle the account with the lender.
