Every club owner knows the formula: Draw in the ladies so the guys will follow and the rent gets paid. Lion I's paid a lot of rent at a bunch of places, especially at Charlie's, once down on the beach in Ventura. Now, 13 years later, the band is back headlining a Rock the Cure fundraiser Saturday night at the venerable Majestic Ventura Theatre.
