Democrats = Progressives = ?

Democrats = Progressives = ?

The political categorization of Democrats being Progressives you can hear very often those days, proudly used by Democrats, and descriptively by Republicans.

But what does it really means?

Is it carrying world changing progressive ideas? It certainly sound like it, but is it?

For the real meaning of it we must go back in time when new ideas were brewing and begun changing the existing, Victorian world.

It was in the beginning at the last century when Marxist’s teaching begun taking hold in mind of intellectuals—and the Socialism, Communism, Italian fascism, German Nazism and American Progressivism was born; all the same breed, promoting the same ideas as; fair share of wealth (understand; taxing the producers of the wealth,) hate for free market, opposition of inherited wealth. Wanting to establish free health care and public education, eat organic food and make fuel made from the grains. It is also renouncing Christianity and purging it from public, promoting free speech (only if correlate with their ideology though), declaring war on smoking, fat, guns, and supporting free sex, abortions and braking up families by giving control over to the State. (Texas Police invasion into Mormon community is the latest and the most brutal example of how fascism is deeply rooted in our society.)

So I would hardly call it Progressive, after almost 70 years when Hitler and Mussolini were promoting them (For those who missed the class, Mussolini was the creator of Italian Fascism.)

As soon as they arrived and rooted between inteligencia, President Woodrow Wilson was greatly embracing the idea of THE STATE as supreme identity, dictating citizens what to do and think. He was first, who in the name of national security, cracked down civil liberties.

FDR’s New Deal was carbon copy of Mussolini’s social programs, of whom was he a great admirer.

It amazes me how is possible those sensitive and caring liberals as candidates Obama and Hillary are can ignore such facts those precise ideas they wanting us to embrace already failed in 60 +/- countries around the world, bringing death over 100 millions of people and misery to countless millions of others.

It is just stunning; did they all missed the history class?
